Our Birthday Babes!

Both C and W were born in October. We love that their birthdays are so close. This year we combined their birthday parties, but still celebrated them on their individual days as well.

C's birthday is on the 3rd. This year he got a bike. He is, of course, OBSESSED. It's an avengers bike with spiderman helmet and pads. His little face lights up everytime he puts them on.

On the day of his birthday, we met a bunch of friends at the park for cupcakes. C loved being able to just play with all his best buds.

That night, it just so happened that our city was having a Safety night. Local fireman and policeman brought their trucks and cars up to a local park. The kids got to play on them, see a helicopter, eat hotdogs, and jump on bounce houses. C thought the whole thing was just for him haha;). It was definitely such a great coincidence.

He accidentally set off a siren and the fireman had to get on to him a little haha. He was so embarrassed bless his heart.

We started a fun tradition last year. Every year, her daddy gives her a bouquet of flowers. She didn't really understand it last year, but this year she was so beside herself. She just kept smiling and smelling them. I'm saving a few each year and drying them. Hopefully by her wedding one day, I'll have a nice big bouquet of dried flowers from her daddy to display somewhere. Goodness. That will make me tear up quick.

I was hoping to always make their cakes, but this year time just got away from me. So we ordered some and then decorated them in their own little them. I'm sure you can guess who is whose

A couple weeks later, we had a joint party at my parents house celebrating them and their cousin Jack. They all have October birthdays so we did one big party and rented a bounce house. They jumped for hours.

After presents, we decorated pumpkins. They loved making a big mess, and the pumpkins turned out adorable. photo IMG_9471.jpg photo IMG_9472.jpg

And obviously, we had to end the night with matching cousin pjs. I love all these toots. photo IMG_9487.jpg photo IMG_9491.jpg photo IMG_9494.jpg

Thank you Lord for 4 years with our C and 2 years with our W. We don't take a single day for granted. On the good days and bad, they are an immense blessing. I don't know what we did to deserve such wonderful kiddos. But I'm so thankful for the Lord's grace in giving them to us. C and W, we love you we love you we love you!
