Before our photoshoot with the talented Nicole of 314 Productions, I managed to snap just a few of willow for her one year pics. How is she a year?? How is she so big, and so cute, and just the best little girl on the planet????

okay, now on to the session. I tried my hardest to narrow down, but there were just SOOO many great ones. Nicole blew it out of the park. Seriously, I'm blown away. This girl is not only our photographer for life, she's also the sweetest friend. I can count on one hand the number of friends I have that I plan on keeping by my side until the Lord takes me home, and she's one of them for sure. We've walked the hard and joyful roads together, we've pointed one another to the Lord, we've prayed, we've dance, we've cried, we've squealed, we've cheered each other on. One word to describe her: Selfless.

Thank you sweet friend for taking these, for always be available in all things, and for loving my little family so well. You are a gem, and these photos are such a treasure!

WILLOW IS 12 MONTHS!!

And here we are. Somehow. 12 months. I remember sitting down to write the very first one thinking "12 months is forever away. Praise the Lord". And it was, and it wasn't. Because it feels like in some ways, that day was forever ago, but in others, it feels like yesterday. A whole year of Willow Ruth. I am a much different person. She's changed me in ways I didn't realize I needed to be changed. The way the Lord has used her to draw me closer to Him has blown my mind. The way he has used to her change the way I parent and a discipline and point my kids to Jesus is overwhelming. So many other countless ways I won't mention here. BUT I'M SO THANKFUL HE HAS.

Little Willow girl, you are a treasure. This past month you have grown more than my liking:) You are almost walking (taken one step). You love love love big brother. You say "mama, dada, uh oh, bubba, baby, yeah, hey, hi, bye bye". You can find our nose and love patty cake. You love to wave and play peek a boo. One of my favorite things is how you say mama. You draw it out and only stop saying until I pick you up or talk to you. You are serious about your food. Like girl don't play. You eat anything and everything. You are still napping twice a day and wear size 4 diapers. Your in 12mo clothes and some 18mo pants. You love stuffed animals and baby dolls and books. You have 8 teeth right now, but are cutting more. I'm guessing you weigh 20-22 pounds.

Goodness I love you so. Daddy and I praise Jesus for you daily and are just so thankful to be given such a wonderful, beautiful gift in raising you. We love you Willow girl!

Willow is 11 months!

how is this happening? HOW IS THIS HAPPENING!?!?!?!?!?!?! only one month left of this little gal being a baby. Seriously, this year is flying by. So not ready to have a one year old. Stay little forever my sweet Willow girl.

This month you are doing so many new things. You are walking with your push toy. You are talking more and more. You can say mama, dada, baby, bye bye, hey, and yeah. You love to wave hello and bye bye. You have four teeth and two that just broke through. You are in size three diapers and I think around 20-22 pounds. You still nap twice a day. Just a few days ago you dropped to just nursing at night time. You still sleep through the night and love your bun bun and blankey. You are constantly on the move now (even while trying to take these pics haha)


You and C are the sweetest of friends. Y'all play so well together so far and you just laugh at everything he does. You love to eat more than anything and you are ZERO picky, hallelujah. Seriously you eat anything and everything. You love bath time with your brother and you don't like when he takes your toys. You love clapping your hands. One of my most favorite things is that when I'm holding you, I say "Willow is my babbbbbyyyyy" and you immediately snuggle your head into me and smile. Ugh. It's the best best best best.

Little girl we love you so much! Watching you grow is such a joy. We couldn't imagine life without your consistent sweetness. You are my sunshine girl. I love you so.

Willow is 10 months!

We are a short two months out from her first birthday. All the feelings happening over here. How is almost that time? I can remember posting C's 10 month update and realizing that time was moving quicker than I wanted. I think I posted his post yesterday. Seriously, it's unreal.




little girl, you are growing like a weed. This past month you've done so many new things. You are crawling like a pro, pulling up on EVERYTHING, walking when you hold our hands, saying dada, mama, bye bye, hey, and yeah. You love clapping and you LOOOOVEEEEE C. You play so well with him. You love your music table and baby dolls. You have three teeth and three more that are breaking through at once. Yikes. You wear 9mo clothes and size three diapers. I would guess you weigh around 20 pounds. You are sleeping through the night still and taking two naps a day. You nurse three times a day and take a bottle the other two times. You are also eating pretty much whatever we are eating. You still eat baby food some, but it's not your favorite. You enjoy feeding yourself. You are seriously so smiley and giggly all the time, but you when you do rarely get upset,  you don't hold back. When you get super excited you have your hands and twist your feet and make the cutest little noise. It kills me.



These last 10 months with you have been the sweetest. I thank Jesus daily he is letting me be your momma. I can't wait to watch you grow. I fee like the luckiest mom in the world to have you and C. 

W is 9 months!

 




Oh goodness girl. Here we are at another monthly update. Only 3 away from a year. This gives me all the feels. This past month has been so much more fun than the last... although, isn't that how it always goes? You are officially "crawling". You do this adorable army crawl. It kills me. You also love to stand and hold on to the couch, but you aren't quite walking around it yet. You love love love to talk and babble all the time. I didn't think it was possible for you to get even more smiley, but somehow you have. You laugh at C constantly and if you are awake, youre smiling (unless it's time to eat. girlfriend is serious about her food) Speaking of food, you eat table food like a champ. Baby food never seemed to satisfy you, so I started giving you table food and you are in heaven! (also saves us money) You love avocado, bananas, most fruits, steamed veggies, and chicken. Honestly, you like everything you've tried so far. So thankful you seem to be a good eater so far. You are nursing 3 times a day and take a bottle twice a day. You weigh 18 pounds and are 28 inches long. The Doc said you are practically perfect in every way:) You still take 2 naps a day and sleep through the night! You are in a size 3 diaper and 6-9mo clothing.  Bath time is hands down you favorite thing ever. You just sit chewing on foam numbers and laugh at C splashing you.

We love you so much sweet girl and couldn't imagine life without you. You bring us endless amounts of joy!
