C the Photographer

a few weeks ago I taught C how to use my camera. Bless him, it was almost too heavy for him to even hold up. He practiced shooting on me and his daddy. I had just finished working out and looked a mess, but I love that he captured me like this. Because, most days, this is how I look to my kiddos. Hair in a bun, workout clothes, and just snuggling the mess out of them.







These he took of me and W will forever be some of my faves. She had major bed head and was in one of my favorite "just woke up snuggly" moods.
 






 Seriously, so impressed with how he did. I, of course, adjusted the camera settings for him in manual, but taught him how to focus and move the camera. Who knows, maybe we will have a photographer on our hands.
 


 Couldn't leave daddy and his silly faces out. haha.

The Way I See You

this series of photos is simply for my enjoyment. I haven't done a "The Way I See You" post in a while. sheesh. C got a Teepee for his birthday back in October. We needed a few supplies to put it together and finally got around to assembling it a few weeks ago. I caught his reaction on camera. Needless to say, he's a major fan of the Teepee & refuses to go through the designated opening. Army crawling under the other sides is where it's at apparently.

 he played and played and played some more. I can tell this teepee is going to be in the background of many childhood memories for this boy and his brothers (or sisters). Long live the teepee!

 Also, why on earth is blogger all of the sudden making my photos pixely as junk. ugh.  Any one out there know the problem or how to fix this?! I have the right resolutions and width...

The Way I See You

Haven't done a TWISY post in a while but hey such is life. Also, I don't even know if that sentence makes sense but you get my drift.

^^a few weeks back inbetween watermelon devouring and kisses from lolli, I snapped these pics. Sun was setting.  Air was cool. Family was all around. It was honestly one of those moments where I'm just so thankful for where I am, where I live, and who the Lord has blessed me with. C was in a particularly good mood and my camera was in hand. So of course, with the sun as dreamy as it was, I had to snap a few of C laughing in Lolli's arms. And gosh darn it these aren't just about my favorite pictures of C to date.

In other news, C would like to say something very important.

I would tell you what he was saying, but in honestly he just likes the sound of the keyboard keys popping up and down to the rhythm of his palm. And when you blog with a baby in your lap, this is the kind of post you get sometimes.

I know, I know, but I just had to...

I 100% realize that posts consumed with C's adorable little face are probably only intriguing to me, the husband, and the grandparents, but I just can't help it. ESPECIALLY  now that he has cut not one but FOUR top front teeth, I had to document that partial gummy smile one last time. If you aren't a momma your probably thinking "chill out women, it's just teeth. seriously"and then if you are a momma you're probably all like "oh em gee, I remember when my kids had gummy smiles, document the crap out of that because it fades so quickly" I hear you mommas, I hear you.
