I love this one. W is smiley AS ALWAYS. Seriously the girl is always smiling. And C hears a siren (his favorite thing in all the world). So perfectly captures their little personalities and hearts. Love it.

Spring Pictures 2015
Finally getting around to posting these. I took them earlier this month. W was almost 7 months old and C right at 2.5 years old. Goodness people, I'm abundantly blessed to call these two little ones mine. This past weekend I was watching them play at my parents house. At one point it me like new that they are mine. How? How could I possibly deserve such beautiful, amazing kids. The Lords grace is overwhelming. Little gal was just learning to sit up in these photos. C was super into it (not). But I love love love love what I captured of the two of them. So real and so hilarious. and if you want to take a stroll down memory lane, here is our spring pictures from when C was W's age. I keep telling myself we will take family pictures soon, but we'll see if that actually happens. Okay, prepare yourself for cuteness. And no, I have know idea where they get those blue eyes from. Or the curls. But I'll take um:)
this kid. he loves his little sister. sometimes a little too much. but she never seems to mind.

don't worry, I give her nine million kisses a day.

little hams.

C Lately
My goodness this child is growing. And too fast in my opinion
In the last two months or so, he's changed so drastically. Bye bye baby, hello little boy. With the exception of diapers and changing some clothes, he's pretty much independent in all areas. His vocabulary has escalated and he talks in full sentences half the time and I just want to melt. At 2.5 years old, these are some of his favorite things to do and say:
-play with trains all day every day. non stop.
-sleep with raggles and blankey
-eat "seereaall" (cereal)
-eat "fru nacks" (fruit snacks)
-wear his beeball shoes (see above)
-when you call him he responds "I right here" and points to his head
-his favorite people are phil (palmer), bobo (hunter) and judah
-he loves to see "Oh, that rugged cross my salvation" song all hours of the day. At night, during breakfast, in the car, in the morning. He knows it by heart and he belts it out.
-he also just loves to sing. I've never met a kid that can pick up a song and remember as quickly as he does.
-he likes reciting his memory verses, mostly with help, but occasionally on his own: Joel 2:13, Psalms 51:10, Lamentations 3:22-23 and John 1:19
-he loves say "lo-lo- okay", " hey lo-lo" (willow)
-he loves turning his fan on and off.
-he loves building trains
-he says "oh my goodness, so cool, how awesome, mama I need help, i luhhh uwe, see uwwee laaadderr"
-made up his own song choo choo choo or a plane
-can spot a train or railroad crossing from a mile away and screams "ailode ossing"
-plays to himself
-reads to himself and loves books
-will do anything Judah williams does and loves his BFF
- he is super mischievous and can't be left alone
-could eat cheese for every meal, and blueberries, mac n cheese.
-its a great eater and will eat whatever we give him most of the time.
-still loves a nap and takes a 2-4 hour nap every day.
-talks to himself constantly
-loves to let finn in and out of his crate and say "hushh innn"
-wants to see lolli and papa every day
-loves facetime
-even though he is not allowed to have our phones very often, he knows how to work it better than i do
-his idermaan (spiderman) and train shirt are his favorite ever
-loves zbo (grizzlies) and basketball
-"mama, air are uwe" is what i hear all day long.
-plays airplane in bed every night.
-wants to cuddle with me every night. hallelujah!
-always wants to go bye bye or live outside.
-loves lolo and plays well with her
-polar express, thomas the train, dinosaur train, and monsters inc are his favorite
-has the best curls you've ever seen.
-can name every train on thomas and friends
-absolutely loves to dance. all the time. 'ance mama, ance lolo, ance daddy, ance inn"
That's all I could think of for now. my goodness. I love this kid. I cherish everyday with him and praise the Lord for such a strong, healthy, precious little boy who is so full of personality and fun. Love you my sweet boy.

C TURNS 2! WHAT???
(Ignore all the weird spacing throughout this post. I have no idea what's happening or why it did that)
well this post is pure picture overload, but really? what did you expect for a post all about my little boy's second birthday. It was the absolute perfect day. We started the day off with two celebratory birthday donuts. He wasn't too sure about the candles. He did a great job blowing them out but was then real confused. Dont worry though, he ate every bit of that sugary goodness

Next we played outside for a good bit because the weather was... you guessed it... perfect!!! Josh played with him and took him on a walk so I could get some cooking done

While C napped, I finished up his cakes. I made two strawberry cakes for our guests & one MAGNIFICENT train cake for C. I just followed pinterest tutorials, and it was actually pretty easy. Just time consuming. I was so nervous about how it would turn out. I've never made a themed cake before or really ever even decorated a cake so this was a little nerve wracking. I also followed pinterest tutorials for marshmallow fondant and was so pleased with out it turned out.

Thankfully, I managed to snap a few pics of us with C before our families arrived. CAN NOT BELIEVE HE IS TWO!!!

Once our family arrived, we ate soup & rolls, talked, C played with cousins, and then we opened gifts. C loved every single item. I'm so thankful for everything he got. I even put a few away to take back out once Willow gets here so he has something new to entertain himself with while I nurse and heal. I'm thinking this is a genius idea:)

I knew he was going to love his cake. I didn't know that he would love it so much that he wouldn't even want to eat it. Almost a week later, and it's still sitting on our counter. He's so obsessed with it. He did eat a few oreo wheels and the marshmallow steam.

We had the BEST little family party imaginable. I'm so glad we decided to keep it so low key this year. It was fun throwing a big huge party for his first, but it's just can't happen every year. And at the end of the day, C doesn't care about all of that anyways.
Little boy, I love you so very much. I can't believe you are TWO years old. You're growing way to fast for my heart to handle. Every single day with you is such a blessing. I love how much you loved your simple little party. Trains, Judah, Family. It was perfect. I can't wait to watch you become a big brother in the next few days. I love you!!!
