Snow Day 2016
We rarely get snow around here, but this year we got a good 3-4 inches. The kids were so so excited. unfortunately, they were a little under the weather so they could only stay out for about 15 minutes. I wish they could have played longer. But, they had so much fun anyways.
Willow LOVES some Elsa (from the movie Frozen). I just had to snap a fast picture of her in her Elsa dress out in the snow. She kept staring at her picture when I showed her and said "Elsa, Elsa, Elsa". Goodness. I love that sweet girl!
So thankful for a day in the snow and cuddles on the couch!

Good grief, they are just too much!

Little snow bunny, Lo.

I love our home in the snow.
C thought throwing snow balls was just hilarious!

BABY #3 ON THE WAY!!!!
Psalm 127:3-5
Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are the children born in one's youth.
Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
We are so excited to announce that a third Kubler Kub is headed our way!!!!! Due May 5th! (but if he/she is anything like my last pregnancy, he/she will be here in late April). We are so thrilled that the Lord graciously blessed us with another pregnancy. We are so undeserving of the grace He pours out on us, and we CAN'T WAIT to snuggle this new babe. We find out the gender in December just in time for a Christmas surprise. I am currently 14 weeks and really hoping these first trimester symptoms disappear quickly, but really I can't complain. Never been so thankful for the nausea and exhaustion.
C and W are so thrilled. They ask me daily to look at pictures of the baby on different pregnancy apps to see how the baby is growing. Sweet W is so ready to have a baby and we CAN'T WAIT to see her as a big sister.
Are we still adopting? Yes, we are. We have until I reach 20 weeks, and then we are paused with our agency. However, we could adopt outside of our agency since our homestudy is active until August 2017. We would just need to somehow be connected to a birthmom, but we know the Lord is able if He wills it. We found out about this pregnancy the same day we found out about our previous match. We were overwhelmed with excitement to learn about two babies on the same day. Sadly, our adoption match failed. One child simply does not replace another, so grieving that failed match was really really hard. We've been waiting over 3 years for a match and this child. We are MORE than ready to welcome the baby and the birthmomma into our family. But the Lord in His grace gave us a reason to dance during our season of mourning. His timing in letting us learn about the pregnancy was perfect. Goodness, we serve a good father! We are praying for a miracle and a match before we turn 20 weeks. I would love two small babies so close together (Bc secretly I wish we were having twins. I've always wanted multiples. I know, I know, Craziness:)
We found ourselves in this exact same situation when we learned we were pregnant with W. She came right in the middle of us trying to adopt and we were eventually put on pause until she hit 6 months old. Looking back now, I obviously wouldn't change a thing. I can't imagine life without her. She's been the best little thing to happen to Josh, Me, and C. So, I'm so thankful for the Lord's sovereignty with this pregnancy. He knew this baby was needed and He has a plan and a purpose for his/her life and we feel so blessed and undeserving of this precious gift. We know He is still calling us to adopt, and that this 3 years of waiting and pausing is all ordained by Him and has a purpose. But, Please join us in praying that by His grace alone, this adoption would still happen. It's hard to imagine pausing it again and continuing the waiting. Waiting is hard, hard, hard. But we know one day, all the no's and all the waiting will be worth it when He allows our adoption to come to completion. If it doesn't happen by Christmas, we know that Jesus is still good and enough for us. Because at the end of the day, Jesus is our desire. Our prize. We want to desire Him about all else. Above all other wants and prayers. Above this adoption. Above everything, We want more Jesus. He is only, ever good. We trust and rest in that.
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
just to take Him at His word
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, "thus saith the Lord!"
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Bed. Head.
some of my favorite moments with my babies is right after their naps. They are usually pretty happy, very cuddly, and their hair is always enjoyable. The other day they were just being wayyyy tooo cute for me to handle so I grabbed my camera quickly and snapped these. Now I just need to frame like almost every single one.

this last one is pretty blurry and off focus, but I just love it so much of my girl. Thank you Lord for these sweet two and their crazy, unruly hair.

Me and them : Coffee Date
It's been a long time since I did a coffee date on my blog. So, if we went for coffee this week, here's what I'd tell you...
Being a momma to these two is a challenge, in the best way. The Lord is daily chizzling pieces of my sinful self away. Lately, I've been memorizing Gal 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control" It's proabably been one of the best verses I could ever memorize. I can't tell you how many times the Lord has brought it to the front of my mind in a moment of anger/frustration with C. The other day I was driving down the road and C was just whiny. Like all the whinyness in the world. I almost snapped, but as the words were about to come out of my mouth, the Lord put that verse to mind. I changed my sentence to repeating that verse out loud and to my surprise, C joined me in saying it. Tears formed and I was just so overwhelmed with how quick I was to snap at him and let frustration take over. That's seemed to happen countless other times. The Word is so powerful, and I'm so thankful for what it's doing in my life.

Braids have become basically the only way I wear my hair these days. I was a horrible braider from most of my life. I've been debating cutting all my hair off sense I couldn't come up with a way to get it out of my face on the no shampooing days. But since I and Husband like it long, I took to youtube to teach me the art of braiding. The braid in this post is the one I do the most bc it's so quick. I'm excited to learn more. It's perfect for getting my bangs (future self LISTEN, do not EVER cut your bangs that short again. ever) out of my hair.

Let's see what else.... oh! We are possibly giving our sweet pup away. Such mixed emotions on this one. We love that dog to death. He's been with us for over 3 years now and he's the sweetest dog. But, with two little ones and another on the way with our adoption, we just don't have the time for him like we used too. We've been really hoping another loving family would want to take him with kids that are older who can give him attention. We have a family interested with a son who has autism. We are really hoping it works out, because we know Finn will be with a GREAT family and a boy who will love him to pieces. So sad to think of Finn not being with us anymore, but excited for his future. I know, it's a dog.

Obviously, I think it's super important to document yourself with your kiddos. Mamas out there... do this!! Don't worry about your hair, your make up, or what your wearing, just document you with your kids. They will be so grateful one day to have so many images of you with them being silly, serious, or laughing.Don't put it off and because you don't look cute or your not at the weight you want to be at, do it now! on the days where you are the most you. It's the you they will remember the most. The one they want documented.
Changing topic, I've been eating clean lately! Actually for over a month now. This is a wholllleeee other blogpost waiting to happen. But I'm so excited. My sisters and I are holding each other accountable until it becomes more of a habit. It's a lifestyle change and I'm LOVING it so far.
This coffee date is going to be cut short for a little girl who is ready to nurse. I'd say I'll do this again soon... but yeah, that's doubtful. HA!
