Our Anniversary and FTN date nights!

Nine years married to this fella. It's like we blinked and here we are, but at the same time it also feels like another lifetime when we got married. We've grown and changed so much over the years for the better. Marriage is never easy and we've definitely had our hard moments, but I'm so thankful the Lord never leaves us were we are. Doing life with this man is a blessing I'll never be deserving of. In nine years, we've moved 4 times, gone through several job changes, been on numerous trips, and had four beautiful babies come into our family. Nine years and a lifetime to come! I love you babe!


 We celebrated at our favorite restaurant, The Beauty Shop. Then we walked around the new Crosstown Concourse, got ice cream, and talked about our marriage. It was a sweet night of celebration and yummy food!

This month was rare in that we got a lot of date nights! WHOOP WHOOP! Josh's second job at Fund The Nations hosted a company night at a Redbirds game! We haven't gone to a game since the early years in our marriage, so this was a different date night than we are used too, but we had fun!

We also celebrated FTN's 10 year anniversary! Josh has been working with this company for a few years now and it's been a massive blessing to our family. He loves working there. Most of his very good friends work alongside him. I'm thankful he can go to work everyday to a place he loves with coworkers who are such a huge part of our lives.

We ate yummy food, took silly pictures and then had our own version of the "dundy" awards (The Office awards).

It's his birthday. Numer 31.

Dear Hubs,

I hope you had a magnificent birthday. I hope you know how loved and cherished you are. I hope you know how much I praise Jesus for you. I hope you know what a seriously hard core awesome dad you are to our littles. We are so undeserving of you. Let's keep dating, shall we?

January Recap

I've been absolutely HORRIBLE in the past about documenting iphone photos. Hoping this year to do a better job and just throw them on a recap post at the end of each month. January was a long, weird month. We got back from NZ in the beginning (I promise to be documenting that trip soon). Then we were hit with sickness after sickness. We made lots of transitions and did a total spring cleaning of the house because...... we've decided to move!!! That's right! We are moving just one city over, but we are so excited to be closer to our friends and church! The house went on the market at the very end of the month/ beginning of February, but we've had tons of interest! Hoping for an offer soon!

Anyways, here's the past month in iphone photos, some edit, some not, but I'm just glad they are finally being documented!! Now to go back and do October-dec...:(

Cousin night!







C moved out of the crib and into his big boy bed. He's done FANTASTIC!! seriously. He never tries to get out of it, and he waits on us to get him in the morning and after naps. So thankful for this easy transition!


W moved to her room! She's doing great in her crib at night... but naps are another story. 



Date night with husband to dinner and target! This date night was so refreshing. We ate the yummiest food at Bablu. We then went to target and just muddled around. We danced in the aisles, laughed, and took photos. We even decided to buy all of C's potty training gear. Haven't potty trained just yet, but we are getting close. 

Date Night 11/12

We kept this month's "different" date night pretty simple and original haha. That's what happens when you're leaving two kiddos behind instead of one for the first time. Some super sweet friends came over to keep both C and W so we could catch dinner and a movie. SO thankful for them. So thankful for this short time with just my man. We tried a new restaurant to our area and saw Mockingjay. Which was incredible. And just like the date, this post is short and sweet;)
