So I am FINALLY posting one, really two, of the projects I've been working on. I've seen these done before & I JUST had to join in on the fun! Chalkboard paint is my new best friend. I found these two old gems at Yard Sales :
Well with a little Chalkboard paint I made the white frame into this :
I loved the white frame & couldn't bring myself to paint it.
With a little Chalkboard paint, some PURPLE paint, & sand paper to ruff & antique it up, I made the tray into this :

Its new home!
I've got TONS more projects postings to come:) INCLUDING my new kitchen Table! EEK! Stay tuned!

Love the oval chalkboard. And I could kick myself, I had that very same picture way back in 1986 when I was first married and the home interior parties were all that. How fun!
